F4/F5 Octave Mandolin

An exceptional instrument that, thanks to its unique sound, is widely used in classical music, jazz, bluegrass and Irish music. It is an instrument close to the Irish bouzouki.

Its size is between a mandola and a mandocello, but its name reveals that it is tuned the same as a mandolin, i.e. G-D-A-E, only an octave lower.

The design and decoration of the instrument is always adapted to the individual wishes of the customer.

The octave mandolin Čapek is also played by the winner of 14 Grammy Awards Ricky Skaggs.
