Mandola F4/F5 Old Era

A fantastic instrument, which is not fully acknowledged. The mandola uses the same tuning as the viola (C,G,D,A), making it possible to use this instrument in classical music, jazz, Irish music, bluegrass and world music.

The advantage of the mandola is its exceptionally balanced sound, the F5 has a more velvety tone compared to the A model.

The Old Era belongs to the higher category of instruments. Its appearance and tone colour are reminiscent of the time of the master Lloyd Loar.

Wood at least 30 years old is used for the top plate and the bottom plate is always made of a single piece of wood.

The body of the instrument is edged with a triple line, the headstock with a single line and is decorated with rich inlay in a combination of white and coloured abalone mother-of-pearl.
