Old Era Openback
Openback banjo is a typical instrument for old time music, often played in frailing style.
The tone ring can be made of wood, brass or bronze, and the shape can vary. For our banjos we mainly use the Whyte Laydie tone ring.
The finish can also be done with shellac.
