Seth Mulder & Midnight Run - Hailing from the gates of the Great Smoky Mountains, the band began its journey in February 2015 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This group of friends and musicians, made up of four like-minded musicians and graduates of college music programs, has created a band steeped in the rich traditions of bluegrass music, but offering a fresh approach to that "High Lonesome" sound. Each member draws from a variety of influences, including bluegrass, country and rock. The band stays true to its musical roots with tight harmonies and a reverence for the "old style" of bluegrass music, while expanding the boundaries of the genre. In June, they completed a new studio album and shortly thereafter were nominated for the IBMA Momentum Band of the Year award.
