John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band J2B2 is a stellar bluegrass supergroup featuring four legendary and award-winning musicians: John Jorgenson on acoustic guitar, mandolin, and vocals; Herb Pedersen on banjo, acoustic guitar, and vocals; Mark Fain on bass guitar; and Patrick Sauber on acoustic guitar and vocals.
Jorgenson, Pedersen, Fain, and Sauber have joined forces to create the perfect combination of musicianship, songwriting, harmonious vocals (a fresh combination of bluegrass with elements of West Coast folk rock), and seasoned showmanship. An American classic at its best returns to Prague after two years by popular demand!

John Jorgenson founded the band Desert Rose with Herb Pedersen, later the group Hellecasters, and toured with Elton John's band for six years. Jorgenson's guitar playing was sought after by artists ranging from Barbra Streisand to Bonnie Raitt to Earl Scruggs. Jorgenson portrayed Django Reinhardt in the Hollywood feature film Head in the Clouds. In 2008, Jorgenson won a Grammy Award for Best Country Instrumental Composition with Brad Paisley and was nominated for Best Bluegrass Album with Earl Scruggs.

Herb Pedersen He was a member of the legendary bluegrass band The Dillards and the bluegrass supergroup Old and In the Way. As a sought-after singer and musician, he collaborated with such musical legends as Chris Hillman, Earl Scruggs, Gram Parsons, Emmylou Harris, Tony Rice, Dan Fogelberg, Stephen Stills, Linda Ronstadt, Kris Kristofferson, John Prine, Jackson Browne, and John Denver. He is the author of the hit "Wait a Minute," known in the Czech Republic as "Jen pár minut" ("Just a Few Minutes"), and the song "Old Train," made famous by Tony Rice.

Mark Fain spent 13 years touring and recording as bassist for Ricky Skaggs and the Kentucky Thunder. He has toured and recorded with the Dixie Chicks, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, Dwight Yoakam, Allison Krauss, and Dolly Parton, and has produced numerous artists in the jazz, country, bluegrass, and gospel genres.

Patrick Sauber is a multi-instrumentalist who quickly made a name for himself in the world of bluegrass and old-time music. Equally adept at playing guitar, mandolin, and banjo, he has toured with Peter Rowan and Laurie Lewis and appeared on the big screen in the film The Mighty Wind.
